Are your pieces food safe/dishwasher safe/microwave safe?
All items advertised as drinkware, bowls, spoons, etc., are food safe. Each item description will confirm if it is or not. Most pieces are dishwasher safe, however handwashing is always recommended as it’s more gentle. Most pieces are microwave safe. If a piece has Gold Luster on it, it is NOT dishwasher or microwave safe. If a piece has a metal/charm element, it is NOT dishwasher or microwave safe. Each item description will confirm if it is or not.
Can I order a custom piece?
Yes! I currently accept customs request on designs I already make, with minor tweaks to fit your preferences. For example, glaze options, phrase options, etc. I only accept commissions on unique items on a case by case basis if I feel it’s in within my skill set or my style. Processing time for this made to order piece is 6-8 weeks or more. Please send me an email to request a custom.
Can I shop Whimsy Pots in store?
Whimsy Pots is currently stocked in one retail location - a curated space full of artists and small businesses. Located at 36 Mill St, Wethersfield, CT 06109, shop Whimsy Pots At Mill Street Marketplace! I restock there monthly with items not stocked on the website.
What is the shipping processing time?
After placing an order, expect your item(s) shipped out in 4-5 business days.
Do you accept refunds or returns?
No. Whimsy Pot’s ceramics are handmade with love and lots of time, therefore we do not accept refunds or returns. If your item arrives damaged from shipping, please contact me immediately with photos of damaged products and I will work with you to fix the issue.
Do you use plastic packaging?
Whimsy Pots proudly uses packaging that has been repurposed and reused from my own purchases. I’d like to remain as sustainable and I can!
Do you offer classes or workshops?
I am currently planning my first workshop to be launched in 2026. Workshops may include some handbuilding with clay, or a paint your own pottery. Workshops will be held at other local small businesses as Whimsy Pots does not currently have a designated spot. Sign up for the newsletter to receive workshop information!
